The George Mason University Office of Research and Multidisciplinary Faculty Steering Committee invite you to the 2017 Biotech and Health Sciences Research Symposium
April 20-21, 2017, Fairfax Campus
The symposium will explore Mason’s current partnerships, research strengths, as well as future directions in biomedical and health related research. We will build upon the momentum gained by the 2015 Provost’s Multidisciplinary Seed funding in Health, new collaborative opportunities with our local clinical partners, and the formation of the Institute for Biomedical Innovation.
The symposium will feature an evening with our clinical partners to explore additional collaboration opportunities, and a full day focused upon building upon our strengths including: a keynote focused on building strong science teams, a directed conversation with the Vice President for Research, presentations by our outstanding investigators, and break-out sessions focused on teaming for future partnership and funding opportunities.
